Professional Development

Professional development services build staff capacity around your organization's area of need. Content is customized to meet staff where they are and elevate them to achieve strategic goals.

Sessions incorporate educational lectures but also engage audiences using:

  • Interactive discussion

  • Break-out sessions for peer-to-peer collaboration

  • Opportunities to complete planning work with the support of trainer

Training sessions are 2, 4 or 8 hours long.

Fidelity Visits

After a professional development session, “Fidelity Visits” can be key in ensuring content is being implemented consistently and properly. Seeds & Berries conducts observations and provides formal reports to client about findings.

Staff Coaching

Seeds & Berries is also available to coach both individual staff members or teams requiring more personalized support. Through these sessions, Alia starts with assessment and follows with resources and ongoing coaching that seeks to empower and challenge staff to engage in best practices.

Coaching sessions are documented for client records.

Coaching sessions can be arranged on a retainer-basis and used incrementally. This “bank of hours” can then be used at client’s discretion based on mutual availability of both client and consultant.

“You were amazing and dynamic. Loved your energy! Finally the district has a trainer from the community with relevant pedagogy and experience related to the population we serve. And the resources you provided were helpful too.”
